Report abuse. The drive is not accessible by your computer because it is formatted in a proprietary format that is not readable by the computer. That is why an external drive has to be formatted by the console before it can be used for games and apps. It is highly unlikely at this point you will find anyone that can or will get the console

There is a simple fix for all of this. Buy a HDD/SSD cloner/formatter that supports m.2 I've seen Linus do it. Clone everything from the og m.2 onto the larger replacement and it should just boot unless the ssd is hardware locked like they used to with the Xbox disc drives.
Currently I have a 2TB ssd in my X. I found someone locally selling a slightly used 4TB version of the same ssd for a really good price. Unfortunately, I can’t find any documentation that tells me what’s the largest size that will work. I really don’t want to spend that money only to find out the Xbox only supports up to a 2TB drive.
