I think it is because the rpg part is not important compared to Spellforce 1 but not sure. , same, but I think it is related that it is basically 2 games mashed in one (rpg + rts) and how you can build your avatar (the classes/school system is very flexible and intuitive, I wish more rpg games would do that).

Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely adore Spellforce 1 and seeing a remaster made would make my year, but in it's current state I can't reasonably tell people it's a good game worth playing. It's a poorly translated German game set in a fairly generic fantasy setting with a weak RTS structure to support the bulk of it's runtime.
