Jan 12, 2016. #1. Hi, The LCD panel on my dash has slowly started to fail. It would get random characters appearing, then would be fine for a bit. Now it has fully gone. FIAT want to charge me £500 to replace this. My local dealers don't want to touch this with a barge pole. I need to get it sorted soon as I believe this will fail it's MOT due

Headlights are computer-controlled, as witnessed by how after switching the engine off, turning the headlight switch off and back on turns on the parking lights. Clearly the switch doesn't have any single fixed function, so I reckon (this is just a guess) if turning the headlight
Bulbs replaced and all going well, 3 weeks later the off side bulb appears to fail, however no warning light on dash, strange but assumed it was the bulb at fault. I decided to un-do headlamp etc and swap the bulbs on the saturday so it would be a quick swap at the nearside headlight when the replacement arrives (due tomorrow).
