IT DOES NOT STOP the engine from running!!!! HOWEVER, the engine must run for the car to come out of ECO mode! If the engine fails to start, the car wont come out of ECO mode. But that will be the least of your problems. Unfortunately there are a lot things that could stop the engine from running but ECO mode is not one of them. I charged battery tried some easy start and now whilst it wont start have managed to get it out of eco-mode. I have also managed to communicate with the cu and got fault code p0215 stop solenoid. Cleared it and still wont start. As I have changed an injector the whole system needs checking for air leaks/fuel leaks. Will keep all posted of outcome.
