I'm a fairly new rider. Only did 1500km so far and about 85% was on my new Yamaha TW200. I'm used to Japanese reliability so I swayed originally more to the Honda. But the KTM 390 just seems so fun. And is still pretty light. I'm 6'3" and weigh about 83KG. Only problem is I'm scared of the KTM brand. Everyone slangs it and calls it unreliable.
Right now the only advantage of the 1290 Super Adventure S is the price and the fact I could swap the full Arrow exhaust, the handguards, some other parts in carbon I have on the 1090. And the fact I also own a 2011 Ducati Diavel and I wouldn't want it would "overlap" with the duke, don't know if it makes sense at all.. . 204 58 46 203 330 11 393 244 79
